A New Chair

Before I had G, Casey had this chair that she was going to give away. I wasn't ready to take the rocker out of M's room, so I took it. It's really pretty ugly....and awful....and old. hahah. But it went ok with his decor and I just left it as is. It is the BEST chair for nursing a newborn. So comfy and supportive. I love it. Well....so up came the red chair again....but this time- it doesn't so much go with the decor. So I've been looking and looking for a slip cover. Which, just so you know, is an impossible task. So I bit the bullet and ordered one online.

With GREAT results!!! Doesn't that look like a cozy place to nurse?? Especially after someone *ahem* gets the curtain put up that I altered/made. The chair isn't a true wing chair, so it doesn't fit perfectly....but I think it looks awesome considering!!! And I still get to use my chair! They didn't have a cover for the ottoman, so I think I will try and find a good pattern for one and pick up some fake suede at Joann's to give it a go.
