Busy days

Sully got a big boy bed! He does really well! 

I've been trying hard lately to fill up our days. He gets so bored at home and acts out and wants to watch tv all day long. When we go places he is so much more well behaved and I enjoy him so much! In the last week we have been to monkey biz, fritz's, the aquarium, crown center, and tomorrow the zoo. 

Harry is busy as ever. All over the place. Is now pretty good at getting to whatever he wants.

Easter was busy. I worked 3 in a row since brooks was off on Good Friday. The kids got tons of candy and were exhausted! 

The days go by do quickly! 

Eye update!

Harrison went back to ophthalmology for his eye check. It was a basic waste of time but assures me that he's fine. Basically he was so young at his first appointment they could tell us what they saw but a structures were so tiny they may have missed something. 

We got there and they dilated his eyes so we waited about half an hour for the drops to work. 

He did great and sully watched a movie. 

So our verdict is that he's fine :) no changes from last time at all. He is missing part if his retina and iris bilaterally but no central vision. So he should be missing some peripheral vision but that's all. He will not need glasses unless he's unlucky like his mama. He should not be limited in any activities at all. Praise God for our perfect #4!!

4 month changes

My 4 month little men. Harry has griffins coloring and such and sullys features. I see so much of my dad in his face. 

Last week I finally made the decision to wean. I nursed for 3 weeks, and then for 14 weeks I pumped 5-7 times a day and nursed 2-4 times at night. It was a lot. Going into this pregnancy I didn't want to breastfeed. I dreaded it. I knew the mom guilt would get me and I would do it anyway. Well I was probably the least sore this time, but still got mastitis at 3 weeks like everyone else. The more kids you have the harder it is to sit with your shirt pulled up all day. My body is not made to breastfeed. I've been there done that. I feel like I have him the best start but all the pumping was really taking it's toll. Time to be done. It took a couple of weeks but I think I'm finally done. Whew. He's fine and I've gained back 2.5 hours of my day.

Harry is so so mobile. He moves all over. 

He still loves to snuggle and can be quite needy, but he's the last so I try to enjoy it. He will tolerate me getting a short workout in now so better. Nights are still a crap shoot.  

He is 12 lbs 10 oz- 9th percent. The smallest smith yet! He hated his immunizations. He is miserable tonight :-( he's so social- loves to smile and talk and is generally a pretty quiet baby.
