Some christmas.

I'm not sure what's up with blogger....it is showing me HTML view of the pics and not the images. Makes it really hard to figure out what I'm doing. Anyway....here are some Christmas pics for your viewing pleasure.

There's just something about my Griffy.

It's hard to explain, but there's just something about my sweet boy that makes me want to squeeze him and hold him in my lap and rock him. It helps that he's so little still. He's so incredibly striking with the cutest smile. Sometimes I just can't get over it.

Mira took the camera yesterday and took some pictures of Griff.

And THIS, my friends, is the picture of a baby so proud of himself for pulling up for the first time. Over achiever.

So Sully is 15 lbs 1 oz. Guess who is SMALLER than Griffin was? Yep. Sigh.

Holiday Train

We went to see the Holiday Train at Union Station as a family on Friday and then went to Crown Center for dinner. It was a fun night out and the kids had a blast!! Sully got his first Santa visit which was pretty cute.

7 months!

This is my bubs. He's 7 months old :( He's such a sweet sweet boy. He still won't crawl, but he army scoots. Works good enough, I suppose. He is getting 2 top teeth, but not the ones in the middle. His nickname will soon be "fang."
He is sitting now- sometimes for long periods, but he gets to wanting something that's too far away and he falls down trying to get it. He can't get to a sitting position by himself just yet. So irritating.
He just didn't want to take pics yesterday.
He was SO NOT into the laying down pics.
Sully has always loved his sissy. She has recently started loving on him more.
And carrying him around....uhhhhh.
It is nice when she sits with him though.

Christmas Program!

So the kids' Christmas Program was Saturday. It was fun. This is what Griffy did- well, he also stuck his tongue out and made goggles with his hands. Sigh.
Not thrilled. That's his best bud Luke in front of him.
Mira was the star of her show. She sang so loud we could hear her above everyone else. She was an angel in the nativity.
She knew every single word and action.
Sully hung out with Grandpa.

Before the program. Don't they look nice?
Cute.
He looks up to her so much.

Old stuff.

So David and Lana came over for dinner one night and the kids wanted them to play horse. It was pretty hilarious. Here is Mira being Sully's horse.
Here they are. Funny.
Sully irritated at G.
These are from Thanksgiving. We went to my Grandma's this year for the first time in a long time. Once again- WAY too much food and there were hardly any of us there!
The kids love to go even though there isn't all that much to do. I love that my kids are so loving with their elders.

The Spirit

I'm having trouble getting in the Christmas spirit. I am enjoying shopping, of course, but 0ther than that.....I'm just not into it. Brooks decorated the house- I would have avoided it all together. Christmas decor just feels cluttery to me. Now that I've finally gotten on top of my cleaning it's irritating to have a bunch of crap all over. The kids and B decorated the tree while I was at work last weekend. This year the kids have been so irritating with the tree. They are constantly playing "decorate the tree" and they pull the ornaments off and put them back on. Problem is....1/2 the needles are all over the floor. So annoying.

I do find that frequenting the grocery helps with the christmas spirit. The really loud Christmas carols are pretty catchy. Ha!

FIVE!!!

So Mira has been running a fever since Thanksgiving night. It almost ruined her birthday. She hasn't really had any other symptoms, but a REALLY high fever. As long as she's been drugged up, she's been ok. We went ahead and had her party at Edge Gymnastics. She spiked while we were there, but still had a great time, I think. We only invited a few kids and we had the place all to our selves!Sully.
opening her presents.
Mira's big present was a bike from us. She loves it and she's great at riding it! Her fever was down for awhile and we let her go out and ride it.
She got a Barbie car and a barbie from Aunt Molly. She had a good time playing with it.
Opening Presents at our little family gathering.
Mom got her a picture book of their trip to CA. She loved looking at it.
Sully has started to get loud when he wants to be. Still mostly when he's fussing though. He's grandpa's boy.
Cookie Cake! I ordered one for school, but since she stayed home, we ate it last night!
The story of Griff's life. Don't you feel sorry for him?
For whatever reason, it doesn't make me overly sad that she's growing up. Perhaps because she's always seemed so much older than she is to begin with. She's acted like she was 5 for at least 2 years, so now the number matches her attitude I guess!
