Beans!

So after feeling sorry for myself the other day, I decided we needed an activity. I cut open three packages of raw beans, dumped them in a wash basin and let the kids have at them! They had a great time. It was a super nice evening out and I got to eat my dinner in peace! YAY!
Pizza on the face.
Yeah, he tasted a few.
It went great for about 30 minutes until G started throwing the beans all over. Pretty good I think!
I wish I could just make myself do one piddly activity with them like this each day. I think it would help so much! I'm really going to try to do it this week. I just feel like there is so much to do that I have to choose between the kids or cleaning, or laundry, or cooking, etc, etc, etc. Alright, enough complaining.

Absouletly awesome activity. See I knew you could do it.

I know I wrote you a long opinion the other day and now I want to give you one more, but short this time..:)LOL.

I use to have OCD really bad! I mean REALLY BAD! I would clean, do laundry, Clean again and again and again, all before spending time with my kids.

After leaving my husband (for domestic violence) I totally changed my ways.
Kids first, cleaning later. It kills me sometimes to not have things picked up, but when I can just sit down and play blocks with Melana or throw a ball to the boys or walk to the park...I feel sooooo much better and so do they.

I love the beans idea! those kinds of things keep kids so busy.

Keep up the good work Mommy, you are on the right track!

And I must say, you make some pretty babies.

a. I'm glad I'm not the only one who's non-infant daughter doesn't wear shirts.

b. Your kids are happy, healthy, and love you dearly. That's what's important.
