This month has been SO BUSY! 2 weekends ago, Molly, Mom and I went to New York. This year Susan joined us! It was really fun and thank goodness Susan was there to lead the way! These are in backward order, but whatever. Monday before we left mom and I went over to GMA. We didn't really see anything, but it was still interesting.
The day before that we caught Ben Stiller making a movie! Cool!
In the subway.
The original purpose of the trip was to see this musical. I will say it was VERY well done and quite funny and entertaining, but oh so wrong. I can't believe there isn't more about how offensive it is!
Inside Grand Central Station to see the constellations.
Rockefeller Center.
The Hi-line. This was an old rail system made into a long park. It was pretty neat! TONS of people though and it was hard to get around!
Times Square.
I don't remember what this was but it was pretty.
Ground Zero. They made it pretty hard to get down in the park and see the memorial and we didn't feel like trying to figure it out, so we found this little above ground walkway and we could see down into the site from there.
The new building.
Brooklyn Bridge. We took the subway down to Brooklyn and walked back- about 7 miles. The bridge was also packed of people as well as bikers. I thought the bikers were dumb. There was hardly any room and they were irritated if someone was in there way. Stupid.
Our little group.
Lady Liberty.
In central park at Alice and Wonderland. Cute statue. The first day we walked up there and walked around.
On Sunday morning I ran up there and ran by myself. My entire run ended up being 7.3 miles! It was nice and cool though. There was a portugal run going on that day so millions of people in the park.
Times square with Elmo.
And Alvin!
It was a really fun trip!!!
