Legoland/Sea Life

Monday was Mira's first day of school and Sully's first day at daycare so Griffy and I spent the day together. I took him to the newly opened Legoland and aquarium. Let's just say, Legoland was awful. So disorganized and really really small. It was $56 for Griffin and I to get in. Thank goodness I didn't bring anyone else! There was a room with all of these things where the kids push the buttons and stuff lights up. This one in particular worked, but over half of them were broken.

This was  a station where you put a car together and race it. Problem was the lady had to do it for us because there were nearly no parts that actually fit together. What a joke. Luckily Griffy thought it was fun.
After leaving Legoland and promising to write a really awesome complaint letter, we went to the aquarium. The fish were not all that exciting, and it was small, but Griffin LOVED it and it made our trip down town totally worth it. All of the aquariums went down to the floor so he was able to look right in.
Really super kid friendly.

He's SO CHEESY.

He had a really great time and I think it was super fun for him to get to do something just us. We should have a few more of those days in the coming months.
