12 weeks

I am not good at taking pictures. I remember feeling this way with G too- it seems like we do a lot of the same things and so every pic would seem the same. I also take a lot of pictures on my phone which I haven't uploaded to the computer, so that cuts into my pics I guess. I am currently missing one of my cameras!

Things are going well here. Sully has started sleeping through the night from usually 9 pm to 6 am or after! I say that after he woke up at 3 am last night, but it was the first night in quite awhile. It's pretty awesome to have him sleep. He then has started the habit of sleeping until 10 am. It's crazy!!! He sleeps til then, grabs a catnap or two after that and then takes a longer late afternoon nap for about 1-3 hours depending. I am really hoping he will stay a good napper like Griffy. He is weighing 12 lbs 1 oz now. He is still refusing the bottle most of the time which is cutting into his growth pattern, I'm afraid. I started work on Tuesday which went great for me, but in the time I was gone- 630 am - 8 pm he took 6 ounces. Yikes! Hopefully that will improve.

He's becoming super cute. He does have periods of play now instead of just screaming, but still mostly wants to be held. He is VERY demanding about attention. He'll be just fine when you put him in the bouncer to make dinner, but if you turn away from him for too long he'll scream until you start talking to him again. He HATES to be ignored....uhhh...Mira? He loves to smile and talk to you and he blows raspberries constantly- which results in a soaking wet shirt often times. He can roll from his tummy to his back- not frequently, but sometimes I'll go into get him from a nap and he'll be on his back- and PISSED about it. He loves to sit upright. He wants to be totally upright. It's hard because his neck gets tired quickly, but he loves the bumbo. I'd like to get him another chair that will sit up but give him some head support.

That's about all for now. I'm ready for the kids to start school now so Mira will be more intellectually stimulated. I'm certainly not ready for winter though. The hot hot weather has been draining, but I'd take it ANY day over the subzero stuff. We've been to oceans of fun a few times and we need to go some more!!! Hopefully August will allow us to do so. I'd like to be able to take Sully and not get a babysitter, but it's just been too hot for him.
