The Stash
Ok, so if you want to talk to me about excess, shut it. I thought it would be nice to show everyone our cloth- complete. I pick up something new every now and then and sell something off also, but this has pretty much been it for a long time now. The top drawer will last probably 3 days without washing. The bottom drawer probably 2 days but if we got out all the prefolds it would last probably 4 or 5. So now you see why the excess is NEEDED! (Little man just got his first order of newborn prefolds today but I haven't washed them yet. He doesn't have this drawer storage in his room so not sure what we're going to do about that, but his baby stash will be nearly all prefolds and covers until he gets bigger- they grow to fast at that stage.
This is Mira's diaper changing station. On the left pins (in a soap bar to keep them slick for sticking), disposable wipes, cloth wipes, then the changing pad, then powder, lotion, and diaper rash creams.
On the left 2 rows we have all in one's and pockets (very few pockets as I am not a fan). On the right two rows we have fitteds (just no waterproof outer layer). Not as pretty, but so soft! Missing are two all in one's and one fitted from this morning.
Bottom drawer- on the left are night time diapers and fleece covers. Middle back are extra doublers if needed and fleece toppers. Middle front are waterproof day covers and preemie prefolds (to use for extra absorbency and for the little man). In the back right are premium prefolds- still way to big for M so we use them to cover the changing pad and in front of those are regular prefolds which are sometimes used for naps and night. The row on the right are infant prefolds which are what we use daily (when not using the top drawer dipes!). Missing from this drawer are about 50 prefolds! HA! Just kidding...but a lot still (prefolds are CHEAP). There are also three day covers missing.
Just incase you were curious. :)
