Fuzzi

Here's the Fuzzi Bunz- it's the standard in pocket diapers. I like it a lot even though I resisted them- we only have one- I think I like it so much because it's red! It's actually very soft and trim fitting. Mira is laying on the floor shaking her head no at it. She's so funny. I occasionally worry that she's autistic because of the head shaking :)Not much else going on today- we were up early because of someone! She got shots yesterday- she was pretty good about it but screamed every time I touched her thighs.

Here are some pics of Mira's new room- I'll post pics of the rest of the house as we get things a little more organized- I've been lazy. They're a bit hard to see because the flash wasn't going off. They're in sequential order going around the room. And the very pink bathroom- which I love!Look at the size of this closet! She'll appreciate it some day.

Hi there!

Not too much is happening around here- I know I've been lazy with my posting! Mira has had a good weekend. Today we went for a long walk with Grandma and Elizabeth. Here are a few after bath pictures. I can't believe the difference from the pics when she was just born. It's amazing how much she's changed and grown and yet she still looks so little to me. I still see that tiny baby I had a few months ago. Here's another one of our dipes- I've had to revise our nighttime solution because she was leaking out of the tabs of our previous diaper. This is a Tiny tush contour with a little added bulk (for absorbency) snappied on and then covered with a bummis wrap. Nights get a little bulky when you sleep 11-12 hours!!We are full time cloth users now and proud of it (as most of you know I'm sure and wish I'd shut up)!! We have all different kinds- gotta try em all to see what we need to use for the next one! Anyway, there's really not anything happening...good night.

Got a new bath seat today- now I can get to the true point of taking a bath...PLAYING!

Can you believe it?!

In one sense I can't remember life without her like she's been here forever, but in another I can't believe so long has already passed! There's nothing I've ever done or can imagine doing that gives me as much satisfaction and joy as being Mira's mom. I can honestly say I feel like the luckiest person on earth when I think that she is mine.
Man, was she funny today. We did bday pictures today because mom has to work 12 hours tomorrow on Mira's 1/2 year birthday. She was laughing so hard! Sorry so many of them look the same, it's just hard to narrow it down when your baby is the cutest one on earth. Look at those cute little teeth!!I'm not sure how much longer we'll be able to do bday pictures- I think our time is limited on Mira being immobile. She's already trying to grab and eat the sign.

Playing at the Lake

This weekend we went to the lake with Mike, Theresa, Delaney, Kayla and Neill (and some others). We played out on the dock in Delaney's pool for most of the day. It was pretty fun!

I had a good time sunbathing and playing with everyone. It got a little cool and overcast towards the end of the day. Mikey took us on a boat ride- my first! Here we are getting ready to go.It wore me out...Can you see my teeth?? This is my new favorite face.

FINALLY!

We finally have cable and internet! YAY! I can resume my blogging tasks and online shopping (don't tell Brooks about the latter). We are moved...completely. We closed on the old house today. Friday of last week Brooks's dad came in town and we spent the day finishing up the cleaning and then the movers came on Saturday afternoon. It was a hectic day and night. That night a bunch of friends and family came over and we relaxed and had a few beers. Here's Mira taking a ride in Caden's Radio Fyler wagon- she's almost big enough.Mira likes to play in her high chair while we are getting things done. she's pretty good- I think it's because she can keep an eye on us. She's been pretty fussy this week with a cold and trying to get some teeth. I think it's getting better. Sunday afternoon we got Mira's pool out for the first time and put her swim suit on. She loved the water! She just wanted to lay in it. Just like bath time I suppose. Look at this Gymboree suit- it's 3-6 months so she's just barely fitting into it, but it's so so cute.

Hiya!Daddy put up a swing in the garage- Mira laughs and laughs when we swing her. She likes to go really high. She just loves being outside.

Just an FYI- we have moved!! However, Time Warner Cable screwed up the hook up date- so we have no cable, phone or internet until Friday. There are some VERY cute pictures I will post this coming week, but you'll have to wait for now!! Mira is doing well- she took her first swim in her baby pool and loved it. She hasn't been feeling too well- a cold and teething all at the same time, she just wants to be held right now. There are worse things, eh? Updates to come next week...
