Day out with Thomas

Today we took the kids to see Thomas again. Remember last year? Sully was only 3 weeks old and so tiny!!! This year was MUCH more enjoyable. It was cool and cloudy and we were able to stay as long as we wanted!! Sully enjoyed the train ride a lot!

 These little baby food pouches are ingenious. Sully doesn't eat baby food but he LOVES these things. I keep them around all the time for snacks. They rock. So easy to take places and he LOVES them. Way better than gold fish or peanut butter crackers!

Memorial Day Fun!

I'm still not used to blogger's changes, so these are in reverse order. Oh well.  On Memorial day weekend B took the big kids to the lake with Mike and Theresa and Sully and I stayed home. Their lake house has been mid-construction for a long time and it's really  not a place for a crawler/just now walker. Also, he'd been sick for over a week and just wasn't getting any better. We didn't do anything fun and I was pretty bored, but the big kids had a GREAT time.  

They were SO EXCITED to go. When they got home they were exhausted.  They took naps and slept late for several days. Looks like they had a blast!!!

KC Triathlon 2012

Did a triathlon Sunday thanks to my friend Bree for talking me into it. It was her first race. She did AMAZING! Here she is getting her stuff ready.

 We had about 10 minutes til we had to leave our stuff and she figured out they gave her the WRONG number. STRESS!

 Here is my setup- I don't really think all that much about set up.

 I did really well! My best time in a Tri so far. My swim was by far my worst swim ever. I gave up on training because I couldn't get my head into it and I definitely paid for it.  I felt awful, couldn't get my breath, couldn't relax and just swim. I ended up doing breast stroke for probably 1/2 the swim. My next race is DOUBLE the swim distance. Turns out I better get in the pool SOON.

It was a really great day!

Pre K Graduation!

Here she is with her AMAZING teachers getting her "diploma." It was a really good ceremony.

PARTY!!

The only thing I really wanted Sully to have for his birthday were some knitted overalls (or shortie overalls to the cloth diapering world). OH MAN, did my friend Ann DELIVER!!! They are AMAZING.

 His party was a hit! Nothing exciting or big, just good ole fun.

 He didn't actually like his cake at all. He's had cupcakes before and devoured them, but totally not into his cake.

 He loved his toys, as did the big kids who fight him for them daily....

The Birthday Evening

Thursday night we had Lana and David over for dinner just for a small celebration. His party was actually Saturday (to follow). I found this cute monster cake at Target. 

Presents! The other kids WAY more excited than Sully.

The kids wanted to get him this rocker elmo....I didn't actually have anything else in mind, so whatever. It's cute.

I got him this little treasure chest that he puts coins in the top of. He loves it! 

He's so freaking cute. I can't get over him.
