Birthday Boy

Just a few pictures of my boy on his birthday. These are from April. He LOVES to play ball. He can actually throw it pretty far. He plays catch on purpose. He can almost dribble it. He loves to kick the soccer ball. It's so weird cause Griffin never cared about it at all.

He also loves Griffy's wagon. It was G's first bday present. It proves to be a winner for this age. He LOVES it.  He gets inside it, puts his balls and his blanket and his bottle in there, and pushes it all over.

 He LOVES his blanket. We call it his "stars" and he takes it everywhere. He LOVES to cuddle it.

 It makes him so happy.

 He is a GOOD EATER!!!! He will try lots and lots of things and he eats like a normal child! Hot dogs, chicken, steak, noodles, cheese, green beans, fruit, whatever! YAY!

 He loves his bottle, although he drinks from a sippy just fine. He has to be on the cup 100% by daycare time in June....I think he'll be fine.

Easter

This was our easter.....a month ago! Hahahaha. Everyone got some clothing item, and a basket full of candy. I toned it down a little bit this year. There just wasn't anything I really wanted to get them and they have SO MUCH. They still thought it was awesome. 

I am a terrible blogger. I admit it. For whatever reason, I have let go of my need to post and keep it up. I still WANT to do it, but I'm not pressuring myself anymore.  I went today to give you a post and realized I don't even HAVE a folder that says April 12. I suck. Sully's birthday is coming up in a couple of weeks so there are sure to be pictures from there! Life is just catching up with me.

I have immersed myself in training for athletics. This past weekend Molly and Ben came and I did my first 1/2 marathon in 3 years. I increased my time by SIXTEEN minutes- and I'm paying for it! It was a great race in STJ- we ran from Central to Benton and back. Unfortunately it's the last year for it.

My next race is a sprint triathlon on May 20. I reentered the pool today for real. I've been swimming about once a week for awhile, but I need to seriously get to it.  So nearly all of my spare time is spent on my hobby- exercise. Strange for some people to hear knowing me when I grew up!

Sully is walking and talking. Yesterday I was rocking him and he looked at me and said. "Nooohhh" and pointed at my  nose! GENIUS! hahah. He says tickle tickle, ball, woof, bahh (bottle or cup), Maaahhhhh (for Mira), and a few other things.  He eats pretty much anything. Such a good boy.

Griffy and Mira are doing fine. Mira starts KINDERGARTEN in a month. I can't believe it, but she is SO ready.  She's super pumped about going too.  Griff is ready to do nothing this summer except swim. He's such a home body.  I am super excited about the summer- spending every day at the pool and just hanging out.  That's all for this morning. Randoms

Since this she has lost the one next to it too!!! TOOTHLESS! She's enjoying the toothfairy. The teeth are totally not coming in straight at all. Great. Braces in our future. Gotta love it.

These are from a couple weeks ago. Sully will now stand at the window and bang on it screaming hysterically to be taken outside.
He only eats a LITTLE bit of sand, unlike Griffin who used to fill his mouth with it.
I had to take a picture for G's school of him with his "pet." Hahaha. doesn't he look like an idiot?!

Davenport

So 2 posts in March, eh? Nice.

This last weekend I took Mira and Sully to Davenport to meet a couple of friends. It was a really super fun trip- one of the best ones I've had in awhile and really we didn't do much at all....

This is Jacob with Sully. Aren't they cute?! That package of diapers is the second time I've paid for disposable diapers in Sully's life. The other time he was 2 weeks old. SCORE!

This is Emily with Mira. They were INSEPARABLE! Emily is almost 8 but these girls got along so great! We caught them giggling and sharing secrets several times.

We went to a place with inflatables and climbing apparatuses. Mira probably obtained Strep Throat here. Oh well. We purchased some balls so the babies would be entertained.
Sully had an eye on all of them the whole time.
The middle baby is Victoria. She is awesome. RED CURLS. Need I say more?


Silly boy.

Both kids did fantastic. We had 3 rooms next door to each other, so we'd put the babies down and go to which ever room the baby was still awake. My friend Tara also has a daughter Rachel who is 14- she was a FANTASTIC help! She took the girls swimming and to breakfast for us. It's nice to have a babysitter! We are back- the next day Mira was diagnosed with Strep throat- but she has hardly slowed down. She felt bad yesterday, but since starting her meds she has been completely fine! That's the way to do it I suppose!!!

Griffy is FOUR!

Wow, Griffy is four. I will do a couple of posts about his birthday. This was Sat morning before we headed to the water park for his celebration. We were spending the night, so we went ahead and let him open his presents early so he had time to play a bit before we left.
